Inspired by the georgious Brasilian bucket, a wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these morning.

  • Which pieces are vintage, which pieces are new? 😁 I’m sure you can guess (I’ve probably already posted it somewhere 😋), but I love how mixing old and new makes magic. A lot of you have been asking me where I find antiques in Dallas — @lulabsdd is one of my favs and they are having a Christmas party tonight from 6-10. Go find yourself something special! 🎄
  • I haven’t had much reason to dress up for the holidays the past few years. But all of a sudden, this year, we have event after event — and this gal is SO EXCITED to really dress up! So I wrote a whole holiday outfit guide on the blog. 😁 Sharing details of this outfit, plus I put together EIGHT other holiday outfits for you, all built on a basic piece you may already have in your wardrobe. Link in bio or story.
  • Happy to be home after traveling for the holiday, and especially happy that our bedroom is coming together! Still want to hang some curtains in here, but the Christmas decorations have distracted me. 😁🎄
  • Just happy that it’s Thanksgiving week, happy for all the fall color on the trees right now, and happy to get to spend the next few days with the fam. 😌
  • It’s become a tradition I have with myself. Every year about this time, I spend some solo time making a fall floral arrangement, just for me, just to hang out with myself and do something out of the norm. This is this year’s arrangement and oooh that peachy-gold palette. 😍 Mixed some of the dried florals I keep around the house in there too. 😍 Do you have a tradition that’s just for you, to share with yourself?
  • I started testing out straight leg jeans in the summer, and after many try-ons and returns, I’m excited to share with you the best of what I found today over on the blog. All under $90, all comfortable. 💫 I also get into boot pairings, cutting my own hems, stretching non-stretch jeans, and how I keep my ankles warm in the winter. It’s a fun rambly one. • Been wearing my hair natural lately instead of using a curling wand on it. After getting West Nile or whatever the hell it was, my hair texture changed a lot and now it doesn’t tolerate heat at all. At first I was bummed because I’d been so used to wanding it, and you know how us humans tend to like what we’re used to. But now I love it and this is the world’s most insignificant illustration of this truth but I’m just always grateful for when life shakes things up and pushes you to get out of what you’re used to. It’s happening these days with a lot more than just my hair. 🙃 (But hair talk again: I’ve noticed half of my hair gets really wavy on its own while the other half stays straight. I’m like 🤨 but also 😍. Does your hair do that?)
  • Really feeling fall patterns and colors. 🍂 I tend to lean on the casual side of holiday outfits, but this year I want to dress a little more special, while still keeping things relaxed and cozy. Sharing three colorful, pattern-ful outfits for Thanksgiving (or any other holiday event you’ve got coming up) on the blog today. Link in profile.
